Paired App Alternatives: Which Couples App to Pick Instead
Short answer: the best Paired alternative depends on why you are leaving. If you want a daily question for less money, look at Agapé or Flamme. If you want date ideas, Lovewick. If you want guided sessions, Lasting. If your problem is schedules, Cupla. If you two talk fine but never do anything, Cuplido picks the plan and the time for you.
Paired is a good app. It has a 4.7 star average across more than 200,000 US App Store ratings (read in October 2026), and its daily question is well made. People look for alternatives for a few plain reasons: the price, wanting something other than questions, or noticing that nothing they answered ever turned into a Saturday.
So start with your reason, then pick.
The six alternatives at a glance
Prices are from the US App Store in October 2026. Stores list more than one price for some plans and prices change by country, so check your own store before you decide.

Agapé: pick it if you want the daily question and nothing else
Agapé sends one question a day. You each answer, and you see the other's answer after both have replied. It takes about a minute, and it has a 4.8 star average across more than 26,000 US ratings.
It is the closest thing to Paired's core, without the quizzes and packs around it. It uses streaks to keep you coming back each day.
Flamme: pick it if you want widgets, games and a bit of everything
Flamme has daily questions, quizzes, home screen widgets, games, a shared bucket list and an AI coach with a date planner mode. If Paired felt too serious and you want something lighter with more to tap on, this is the one.
The date planner works when you ask it. It also has a streak and a connection score, by its own release notes.
Lovewick: pick it if you want a list of date ideas
Lovewick has more than a thousand question cards and a library of several hundred date ideas, with wishlists and a memory timeline. The yearly price is low and a good part of it is free.
It suits the couple where one of you enjoys browsing and choosing. You pick the idea, and you pick when.
Lasting: pick it if you want to work on the relationship itself
Lasting is a program of guided sessions based on relationship research. It is the most structured app on this page, and it is the right one when something specific is not working between you and you want steps to follow.
It is not for planning a Saturday, and neither is Paired.
Cupla: pick it if the problem is your schedules
Cupla is a shared calendar for two. It syncs your Apple, Google or Outlook calendars, shows when you are both free, and reminds you when you have not had a date in a while.
It is very good at when. What to do, and on which day, is still yours to decide.
Cuplido: pick it if you talk fine and never do anything
This is our app, so read this part knowing that.
You tell Cuplido two things once: what you two miss (quality time, communication, fun, adventure or romance) and when you are usually free. It does not ask for your calendar. Then it plans your week. On Monday you already know Saturday afternoon is taken. By Friday you know what you are doing. On your other free days there are small things: a detour on the way home, a challenge after dinner, a question you would not think to ask.
Two parts are free for both of you. The daily note is one question a day, answered apart and opened when you have both answered, which is the same idea as Paired's daily question. Between us lets you send your partner kisses, a doodle or a short line like "I miss you" with one tap.
Nothing piles up. If you skip a few days, nothing is waiting for you when you come back.
Do not pick Cuplido if you want a big library of questions, if you want to browse ideas and choose for yourselves, or if you are long distance. The planned week needs time in the same place.
